2008
Amberjack Solar Energy “Amberjack” is incorporated, and is one of the original commercial solar energy developers in New Jersey.
2013
Amberjack begins building a portfolio of its own solar systems to own and
operate, under the name Amberjack Renewable Energy Investments. Amberjack introduces NABCEP engineers and full time monitoring + maintenance operations in house.
2014
Amberjack Acquires Sun Farm Ventures, one of the original developers & operators of commercial solar systems in the Northeast, and rebrands as “Sunfarm Solar”.
2015
Sunfarm expands development into NY, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts continuing as one of the largest owner/operators of commercial systems in the northeast and in Puerto Rico
2017
Sunfarm reaches 25+ megawatts of solar developed.
2018
Sunfarm develops 6.5+ megawatts of solar for the city of Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
2022
Sunfarm is acquired by Sunlight General Capital.
2023
Amberjack spins-off from Sunfarm and continues developing solar energy and commercial battery backup solutions.
Founder
Lance Kulick- Founder & CEO
Lance Kulick is the Founder and CEO of Amberjack Solar Energy. Lance has positioned Amberjack to be one of the most well-respected and longest-operating developers in the industry. Lance has deep experience as an entrepreneur across multiple industries and thrives strategizing with business owners on their clean energy strategy. Lance graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and lives in Puerto Rico and New York.
