Lance Kulick
President & Founder

Lance is the founder and the president of Amberjack Solar Energy, President of Kulick Development, and partner in Garden State Lumber Products. As such, he was responsible for the marketing, sales growth and profitability of Kulick Development and Garden State Lumber before focusing solely on Ambjerack’s operations, marketing and sales. A seasoned professional in the areas of energy efficiency in building design and building materials, and renewable energy sources, Lance’s goal is to make it feasible for every entity interested in being its own power provider to obtain electricity via solar energy. Lance is a member of industry associations Mid-Atlantic Solar Energy Industries Association, Solar Energy Industries Association, American Solar Energy Society and U.S. Green Building Council, National Safety Council. He holds a degree from Lehigh University, a certificate of achievement for solar PV electrical systems from Solar Institute for Management & Technical Development, completed training at the Infinite Solar Institute, and is NABCEP Certified. Lance spent several years working with Price Waterhouse as a consultant in the technology and financial services sector.


David Kulick

David Kulick
Chief Executive Officer

In addition to being Chief Executive Officer of Amberjack Solar, David is also the CEO of two other companies in the building materials and construction industry. He has grown both of those firms substantially and profitably. A graduate with honors from Harvard University, David was also the winner of the Detur Prize, awarded for academic excellence to Harvard’s top thirty freshmen, and was the captain of the Harvard JV basketball team. David spent several years as a management consultant for Oliver Wyman and Company, responsible for advisory services in the energy development industry. Mr. Kulick’s expertise is in strategic planning and operational leadership.


Darryl Birtwistle

Darryl Birtwistle
Vice President of Finance

As Vice President of Finance, Darryl’s focus is on investing in and acquiring commercial and utility scale solar energy projects. With 10 years of experience in investment banking and solar project development, Darryl brings a strong understanding of both the financial and technical aspects of structuring successful solar investments. Prior to joining Amberjack, Darryl held positions at Citigroup, Capstone Partners, Wirsol, Pfister Energy, and led his own investment firm, Birtwistle & Company.

Darryl graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Rutgers College Honors Program and is completing his MBA at NYU’s Stern School of Business.


Jim Kloster

Jim Kloster
Vice President

Jim spent last decade in the commercial real estate field brokering and developing projects in the industrial and retail sector. His experience in the real estate industry made for an easy transition into the commercial renewable energy sector. During his tenure in development and brokerage, Jim spent the majority of his time engaging C-level decision makers and working along side engineers, government entities and developers. Over the years, these relationships have proven invaluable for Amberjack's growth, as well as helping to bring projects to a successful completion. Prior to Real Estate, Mr. Kloster oversaw Northeast Sales Management positions at two Fortune 500 companies while earning multiple distinctions for leadership and business growth.

During Jim's tenure as VP, Amberjack has grown into 6 new markets to become one of the the nation's largest commercial solar integrators. One of his core responsibilities is to develop primary partnerships that strengthen Amberjack's offering to clients.

A sought after orator on solar, Jim has provided insight at a multitude of solar and sustainability seminars as well as interviews for magazines and radio programs. Jim has a passion to develop better financing solutions as well as greater efficiencies in cost and construction. That passion is the result of his drive to provide the greatest returns to the Triple Bottom Line:

Steve Littlewood

Steve Littlewood
Director of Business Development

Steve Joined Amberjack Solar as Regional Sales Manager in 2013 bringing over 10 years of sales and business development experience, with more than 7 years dedicated to the solar industry. He was promoted to Director of Business Development in early 2014 after being a key contributor to Amberjack's increase in annual installations from 10MWs in 2012 to 16MWs in 2013.

Prior to Amberjack Solar, Steve worked for NJ Solar Power, one of the first turn-key EPCs in NJ where he was responsible for residential and commercial development in NJ and PA. Steve went on to join Hanwha SolarOne, a panel manufacturer entering the U.S. market in 2011 to Manage Eastern Sales. Prior to Steve’s experience in the solar industry, he managed and expanded complex IT hardware and software relationships with Fortune 500 companies throughout the tri-state area.

Steve is passionate about the solar industry and is committed to helping improve the environment. He holds a degree in Business Management from Widener University where he also earned honors as an All-American in Lacrosse.


Tony Noweski

Tony Noweski
Director of Project Management

Tony has over 20 years of Contracting and Construction experience in planning, developing and constructing commercial solar power plants as well as various large scale telecommunications projects. This experience has helped him to build a broad knowledge of the requirements, standards, methods and procedures to successfully build in diverse market sectors. Meeting and exceeding the expectations of our clients is Tony's primary goal. He is a LEED Green Associate with a focus on Renewable Energy and Solar PV.


Emmanuel Oluwehuje

Emmanuel Oluwehuje
Director of International Operations

Emmanuel Oluwehuje is the Director of International Operations at Amberjack Solar Energy, LLC. Emmanuel's primary function is to source solar investment opportunities in Africa and the US.

Emmanuel has developed megawatts of solar energy in the United States and currently is in the process of launching a program for residential solar units in his home land of Senegal Africa.

In 2012, Emmanuel founded Africa Alternative Investment Group (2AIG), with the vision to empower communities by using solar energy. In addition to renewable energy solutions, Emmanuel strives to educate and bring energy efficiency practices and cost effective solutions for overcoming the diverse array of energy challenges currently facing the continent of Africa.

Emmanuel is the Co-President of Happy Hands Foundation, designed to help children and disadvantaged families in both New Jersey and in Africa.

Emmanuel has 300 hours of solar training at ITM Jersey, a degree in computer science from IPG and an associate degree in science from Bergen Community College.


Dana Gulino

Dana Gulino
Director of Monitoring & Maintenance

Dana graduated cum laude from Boston University and began her career in renewable energy in 2004 when she joined a start-up solar company as their first project manager. It was there she built the Operations, Installation, and Maintenance Departments from the ground level. Dana is proud to have been the PM on the system that produced the first SREC ever sold in NJ.

Over her long standing career in Photovoltaics, she has managed over 275 installations, totaling 11+ mW, spanning every sector, in NJ, NY, PA, and Mass. Since joining the team at Amberjack she has established, implemented, and currently oversees several methods and processes. She has enhanced Amberjack's expert, accredited Maintenance Program and runs its daily operation.
